VRUXA Design Studio is Vanessa Alvarez' concept for a coven of creatives, all experts in their area, that have the creative spark, unique talents and vision to make magic happen for any creative need. With over 20 years of professional, client-centered experience Vanessa has produced a collection of high-end work ranging from brand identity, editorial, print & hospitality design; with a growing portfolio of web & digital design, social media content, as well as photography, illustration and fine art.

Vanessa Alvarez is the creative mind behind VRUXA Design Studio. ​A self-motivated and detail-oriented creative professional with a proven track record of delivering exceptional high-quality work. Vanessa has 20+ years of experience that spans print, web, digital, social media, product and brand design. The variety of expertise allows her to adapt to any project's needs and craft visually stunning and impactful solutions for a wide range of creative challenges. ​
A Cuban-American, Miami Florida native who learned to paint oils at age six and thrived at every creative endeavor always knew her path would lead to making beautiful things. She went on to graduate from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Illustration with a minor in Communications. Her career began straight out of college in editorial publication & media design as a Features Designer, Art Director and Copy Editor for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel Newspaper in Fort Lauderdale. Then expanding her expertise as part of an in-house agency for Oceania Cruises. As a Senior Designer Print & Digital, she's taken on various roles from art director and photographer to project manager and hospitality designer. While also finding creative solutions for small businesses, shooting memorable images and painting artwork for individual clients.
